Aaron Mustamaa is 26 years old, lives in Brooklyn, New York, works as a motion graphics designer. Born in the suburbs outside Detroit, Aaron received his BFA from the College for Creative Studies in 2007. While over-inflated macho symbology is abounding with all its stuff of bulging biceps, bubble butts and beach-ball bellies, Beefyblimps is a light-hearted, helium-filled hyperbolic heights of masculinity, colored through a modern Western pop art lens. This funny parade of super-sized macho men saw the light in 2009 after years of drawings and sketches. I love it. Raised in the suburbs outside Detroit, Aaron received his BFA from College for Creative Studies in 2007. His works are included in Bruno Gmunder's indispensable anthology "Big Love: sexy bears in gay art".
