Already I wrote about sensitive and talented painter David W. Haskins (see 10.12.09), whose works are in the permanent collection of The Leslie-Lohman Foundation. Born in 1955 in Framingham, Massachusetts, from 1973 to 1975 attended Babson Institute and art courses, then worked for 11 years in the family owned Oldsmobile dealership in Wellesley. In 1978 David met Cliff, they have lived together for ten years; in 1987 David decided to leave the family business and follow his artistic career. New courses in artistic anatomy at Boston Museum School of Fine Art in 1988, in February 1989 Cliff died for an esophageal cancer. In 1993 David met Danny and settled home together, the year after they moved to Miami. In 1996 eight paintings have been exhibited at an international gay meeting in South Beach, the first of many shows. In 2005 some works have been published on Unzipped magazine. Original artworks, prints and some gadgets can be purchased at the site.http://www.haskinsmaleart.com/
