Bill Ward è nato a Londra dove ha vissuto per tutta la vita lavorando nell'editoria, soprattutto per riviste giovanili.
E' stato per molti anni art director e illustratore per diventare in seguito freelance e autore di libri per bambini. Appassionato di fumetti e motociclette fa parte del M.S.C. London Leather and Denim Club; ha collaborato per molti anni a "Drummer" 
(pubblicato dal 1975 al 2001), "Bearhunt", uscita per soli due numeri ma con un calendario 
per l'anno 1993, e alla fanzine "Bros" su cui illustrava un lungo racconto erotico che aveva come protagonisti 
motociclisti dai lunghi capelli.
Bill Ward is born in London, where he has lived almost all his life working in the publishing business, especially for youth educational magazines. 
After many years as art editor becomes a freelance illustrator and author of children's books. A lover of comic books and motorcycles (Bill is part of the MSC London Leather and Denim Club), has worked for many years at "Drummer" 
(out from 1975 to 2001), "Bearhunt", only published for two issues but with a 1993 calendar, and the fanzine "Bros" with its long-running erotic tale "Tribe" 
of longhaired bikers.
