Born in Pennsylvania, Sean (Michael S. Duffy) after high school attended the York Academy of Arts where he studied commercial art. After seven years as window dresser Sean went to work for a custom frame and art gallery; in twelve years he did become quite knowledgeable about custom framing to open his own business in 1999. 
His frame shop in Pittston, Pennsylvania, allows him time to spend creating his own artwork.
