Born in Bucaramanga, North of Bogotà, Columbia, at fourteen he moved to the United States; he has published three astonishing and intense books: "Mil Besos" in collaboration with John Galliano, edited in 2009 by Rizzoli Editore, 240 pages, $ 75, "Sombra" edited by Merrell in 2004, $ 19,95 and "Torero", an absolute masterpiece, edited in 2001 by First Edition, 204 pages.
