Posing strap is a evil type of clothing. Between 1930s to 1960s beefcake magazines featured photographs of attractive, muscular young men in athletic poses and never naked; they were typically presented as being magazines dedicated to encouraging fitness and health, the unique condition to be sold in newspaper stands, bookstores and pharmacies. They were often the only connection that closeted gay men had to their sexuality. Models wore posing straps, trying to cover as little as possible with commendable (and sometimes funny) creative efforts.
