Alexander von Agoston (real name Andreas Enkelmann) was born in Berlin in 1963. Third son of a painter's family, he has studied art and history at the Technical University in Berlin and worked at the German Historical Musuem. Self-taught, focus on male portraits and nudes, since 2000 he has successfully devoted himself full time to painting.
