James Spada is the author of many succesful biographies (Barbra Streisand, Robert Redford, Liza Minelli, Jane Fonda, Bette Davis, Ronald Reagan, the Bush family and others) and a skillful and talented photographer of male nudes. In ten years he has published three stylish photobooks, in 2000 "Black & White Men", in 2004 "Edwardian Men" (see 8.7.09), in 2011 the third book "Eye Candy: New Images" featuring for the first time color pictures. A collection of artistic nude images in color and duotone, intimate portraits of young men experimenting with lighting and homey, old-fashioned settings that we can imagine as lover's retreats, vacations from daily strife.
