While Champion Sudio was at its peak, Walter Kundzicz (see 4.8.12) launched and published his own magazines, including Big and Go Guys. Kundsicz is considered one of the best and innovative photographers of the gay 1960's and 1970's. Published from 1962 to 1968 BIG was mostly bimonthly with occasional special issues, 39 pages, 50 cents. It regularly featured the most popular Champion Studio's models as Bruce Randall, Cherokee, Tore Lind, Patrick Berglund.
