Ivan Garcia is born in Oviedo, Spain, in 1979; has studied illustration at the Escuela de Artes y Oficio de Oviedo, but, first of all, Ivan is self-taught. For 5 years he has worked as illustrator for text books in a medical-scientific studio, developing a big skill in anatomic drawing and digital techniques. Actually he is a freelance illustrator and teacher at professional courses of graphic design; he has published a biopic about Duke Ellington for Ediciones Nobel, in 2007 the graphic novel "XY" and "Las aventuras del Capitàn Eclipse". He designs covers, flyers, advertisements. His works have been exhibited in several shows in Spain.
