Pat Milo (vedi 28.5.11) usava spesso una luce diffusa (come Kris of Chicago) e preferiva scattare in interni; le sue stampe su carta doppio peso satinata erano una sua caratteristica. A metà degli anni '60 l' editore DSI pubblica un libretto contenente fotografie di nudo maschile frontale, tutte di Pat Milo e pubblicate senza autorizzazione. Pat contatta immediatamente un celebre avvocato dell' epoca per fare causa alla DSI. Il processo diventa una pietra miliare perchè le foto non vengono considerate oscene. A seguito di questa decisione del giudice Milo mette fuori a gran velocità un catalogo di nudi frontali; la risposta del pubblico è straordinaria. Pat può comprarsi un cottage nel deserto dove và a vivere da solo, non erano permessi visitatori. 
All' apice del successo, nel settembre del 1969 a 58 anni, muore nel sonno. 
Pat Milo (see 5.28.11) often used a diffused light (like Kris of Chicago) and preferred to shoot indoors; his prints were on silk double-weight paper which was a Milo's trademark. In the mid-60's the east coast publisher DSI brought out a book of frontal male nudes all of which were Pat’s work used without his permission. He quickly contacted the famous lawyer Stanley Fleishman to bring suit against DSI. This became a landmark case becouse the photos were found not to be obscene. Once the "not guilty” decision was rendered Pat moved quickly to put out a catalogue featuring full frontal male nudes; the immediate public response was tremendous. Pat could buy a small cottage in the desert where he lived alone, no visitors allowed. The first catalogue was followed by two others. 
At the height of his success, in September 1969, 58 years old, Pat died in his sleep.
